Cendyan has 250 JC + trophy for an effective max skill of 252. In addition to that, he just completed Jewel Craft Mastery 3 this weekend which gives him a 50% less chance of failing combines. Next he will be working towards Salvage 2 (maybe 3 if he ever hits level 70), which will give him aprroximately a 15% chance of having an item returned on failure. He should have that within a couple weeks or...

OK... here is a question for the real die-hards:

What is the formula for success, given a certain trivial and a certain skill level (with skill-modifier)? I have seen one before, but don't know if I trust it. Will be trying a high trivial, and before I try to max Smithing (expensive), I would like to know what my odds are.

Item has a Smithing trivial of 282. Will be using a +10% Smithing modifying item.

Well, with the help of that Fizzniks robe. (Thanks Teff.) My tinkering skill is at 177. I have made some successful combines into the 220's. My Latest combine for all you tall people was the Anizok's minimizing device. I can do Rebreathers also, almost no fail on those.

To make a long story semi-short. If you need me to make any of these items for you. Let me know. I will need some materials from PoI, seeing that most devices over the 200 mark require at least 2 combines and some of...
